The RE-OPEN Moodle platform (Learning Management System – LMS) hosts the remote laboratories of the five European universities partners of RE-OPEN project allowing the universities students enrolled in STEM and engineering faculties / subjects to access to the other universities experiments and share the experiences with the other students at national and international level.

A standard ICT communication protocol allows to access to ICT infrastructure located at each university lab class for the remote control of the experimental system to perform experimental work. The ICT communication protocol includes the standard devices, communications outputs and the LMS learning platform (developed with Moodle) as user interface.
